Students continue to work on stop motion animations

All students but Bronwyn have a 10 hour client now

Animation shooting must be done by the end of the day on Tuesday.

Friday: Juan Bacquero

Next Tuesday: All animation Shooting done

Next Wednesday: Intro to Sound

Period 4 and 5 Grade 9 Communications Technology

Students have no more class time for vector work: due to folder by Friday November 1.

Period 1 Grade 9 Screen Arts

We finished our reflection on Inocente

Students handed in their stop motion, cut paper animations on USB

Students finished animation report: What had to be handed in: report, storyboard, box with materials

We discussed feeder school outreach:

• doing a short video with footage or photos supplied by the school? Optional - make a letter to explain
• picking TWO school to come and visit for half a day - students talk and do a workshop - pizza lunch?
• other ideas? Make a short film about the high school experience? Optional

Coming up:

Mr Massey will be taking over the class and introducing camera and film production basics! He will also be sharing his own film work. He will be conducting a brief critical response activity with the animations handed in. 

Per 3 and 4 Grade 10 Com Tech

Students were continuing to finish up their Shepard Fairey Adobe Illustrator portraits.
What is due Wednesday: The Shepard Fairey .ai file, the worksheet in a folder with your name. (into Grade 10 VectorA) folder
What students are starting: Their one page graphic novel culminating project.
